DEMET'AIR
The Demet’air thermodynamic dehumidifier is a multifunctional air treatment system specifically designed for greenhouses. It can operate in dehumidification mode or heat pump mode, thus meeting the diverse needs of your crop. With its advanced technology and versatility, it provides effective solutions to maintain an optimal climate year-round while saving on heating costs.
Available capacities: 25 liters/hour and 37kW heating.
2-in-1 Thermodynamic System: Dehumidifier & Heat Pump
Possible applications:
- New greenhouses
- Existing or renovated greenhouses
- Semi-closed greenhouses
- Greenhouses with air distribution ducts
- Crops occupying the full height
A thermodynamic dehumidifier operates on average 3000 hours per year. These operating hours mainly occur in the morning and are not aligned with the hours when the greenhouse needs heating, which is primarily at night when the dehumidification needs are low. On the Demet’air, the same compressor in the thermodynamic circuit is used both in dehumidification mode and in heat pump mode. The thermodynamic circuit is complemented by an external evaporator that allows it to capture heat from the outside air and return it at a higher temperature to the greenhouse.
